Game of the Week – Oakdale at Sherwood

We are heading back to Montgomery County, and back to the 3A West region for our Game of the Week this week, as No. 2 Sherwood hosts No. 3 Oakdale.
A spot in the 3A State Quarterfinals is on the line as both 8-2 teams look to keep their seasons alive. Sherwood is coming off of a dominant 49-7 victory over Manchester Valley in their first round playoff game, while Oakdale shutout North Hagerstown, 43-0, in its first round matchup.
Sherwood is looking to avenge a 49-14 loss at Oakdale in the second regional round last season. After starting this season 2-2, Oakdale has won 6-straight games, and looks to build on that momentum into the next round.
We are in for a great game on Friday night, and we will be on the field covering all the action at 6:30 pm from Sherwood High School in Sandy Spring!
