Game of the Week – Patuxent at Westlake

We’ll be heading to southern Maryland to take in some SMAC action for Week 1 of the 2025 regular season!
Westlake hosts Patuxent in an early season matchup between two strong teams that made long playoff runs last season.
The Wolverines were eliminated in overtime in the 2A State Semifinals with a 27-20 loss to eventual state champion Stephen Decatur, while the Panthers capped off a 14-0 undefeated season that culminated with an 8-6 victory in the 2A/1A State Championship Game over Dunbar.
The two teams have not played since October 7, 2022 when Patuxent picked up a 59-7 victory over the Wolverines.
Kickoff is set for 6:00 pm, and we will be live at Westlake High School on Friday!
